We had such a wonderful 4th of July thanks to many friends!!! We woke up early in the morning and had ward breakfast which the bishopric made (meaning LUke had to help make it). The kids and I enjoyed our breakfast and hanging out with our friends. We then went home to take naps and Luke finally got home after finishing cleaning up for the breakfast. Later that day we went to some friends for a BBQ! It was so fun hanging our with everybody! Max played in the water while Kylee got passed around and snoozed a little here and there. We then made our way to the park for fireworks. We did the shuttle thing (which was a school bus) and Max thought it was the greatest thing. He was so excited and vocal about it--the whole bus could hear him. We then enjoyed hanging out with friends and listening to the concert before the fireworks. Then the fire works came. This was Max's first time watching the fireworks and he absoulutely loved them!!!!! What a fun time! Thanks everyone!

Max loved playing in the water with his friends!
I think this was Max's favorate thing to do! He loves to eat, eat, and eat some more. He would steal food off other poeple plates!!

We had so much fun with you guys! :)
OK - I'm noticing a pattern here with Luke and his mouth way open! LOL!!!
Your 4th looks fun! Glad you had a great, safe time! Great to hear that Max liked the fireworks too! So many kids are afraid of them the first few years of their lives, and it kinda dulls the moment for the parents, I think. So that's great he enjoyed them!!! GO MAX!
we had fun!! and max was a blast on the bus, he kept us all laughing.
i love the picture of ryan and max in the pool. it's so cute.
What a fun fourth!
I love Kylee's new hairdo! What a cute girl!
I LOVE your blog! I have loved getting to know you and your family better!

I stumbled upon your blog this morning and really enjoyed reading your family story. I am pre-homeschooling two of our neighbor children from Kenya. The girl's name is Precious! She and her brother Junior are a special part of our family life. We have also enjoyed bringing them to our Mesquite, TX ward :) Oh, and we had some good Meldrum neighbors when we were going to BYU 15 years ago. Blake Meldrum was one of the boys in the family.
